The Marine Voice Ltd provides professional expertise in marketing, public relations and communications services on behalf of our clients under the terms and conditions which are set forth below.
1. Fees
Our fees are based on an hourly rate for the project completed, or a fixed monthly fee for an ongoing service agreement contract can be negotiated. Monthly contracts can be discontinued by either party by giving 30 days notice in writing. Invoices are sent at the end of the month and payment is due by the 20th of the following month.
2. Expenses
The Marine Voice will obtain authorisation before incurring expenses in excess of NZD$200 on your behalf.
3. Liability
You agree to use all reasonable endeavours to satisfy yourself and use that the statements we provide on your behalf are truthful and accurate. All material we prepare for your business is required to be approved as being correct by you before anything is published. We accept no liability, losses, damages or expenses which may incur as a result of any claims arising from any assertions we may make on your behalf.
4. Confidentiality
We respect the confidence of our clients and understand that your business and personal information should be considered sensitive and will be treated as confidential unless declared otherwise.
5. Privacy
We take precautions to protect your information. We are the sole owners of the information we collect, and we will not sell or rent this information to anyone. You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time.
6. Publicity
Unless otherwise agreed, we may publicise our agreement to work with you in the form of press releases and links on our website and social media pages.
7. Dispute Resolution
We agree to make a good faith effort to resolve any differences by negotiation.
8. Limitation of Liability
We make no warranties of any kind and in no event will we accept any liability for any loss of profits, business interruption or damages relating to our performance under this agreement.
9. Conflicts of Interest
We will disclose to you any actual or potential conflicts of interest prior to undertaking any work with your business.
10. Reputation
We will not make any misleading or extravagant claims nor engage in any conduct we believe to be illegal, unethical or detrimental to our reputation. We will make no statements based on racism, sexism, homophobia, or religious discrimination and we will not promote the interests of businesses that promote the violation of human rights. We respect the principals of te Tiriti o Waitangi in the outcomes we deliver.
